Privacy Policy
Last updated: 19 July 2026
This policy covers the AdaptGen Agent Portal and the AdaptGen Messenger assistant — an automated assistant that replies to property enquiries on a real estate agent's Facebook Page.
These services are operated by Adaptgen Information Technology Solutions (“AdaptGen”, “we”), a business registered in the Philippines. Questions or requests: adaptgenteam@gmail.com.
Who the data belongs to
Our clients are real estate agents. Each agent is the owner of the enquiries their own Page receives. AdaptGen processes that data on their behalf, to operate the assistant they have engaged us to run. We do not combine data across clients, and one client can never see another client's data.
What we collect
From people who message an agent's Page
- Your messages to the Page, and a Facebook-issued page-scoped ID that identifies you to that Page only. It cannot be used to identify you elsewhere on Facebook.
- Contact details you choose to give when arranging a property viewing — typically name, phone number and a preferred time. These are only stored because you provided them in order to book a viewing.
We do not read your Facebook profile, friends, posts, or any conversation that does not involve the agent's Page.
From agents using the Agent Portal
- Your Google email address and basic profile, used solely to sign you in and to match you to your own account. We request only non-sensitive scopes (
email, profile) and cannot read your Gmail, Drive or contacts. - Listing content you upload — property details, photos and videos.
- Sign-in events (email address and time), kept as a security record so account owners can see access to their data.
How we use it
- To answer property enquiries and pass viewing requests to the agent.
- To show the agent their own listings, media and captured enquiries.
- To keep the service secure and diagnose faults.
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to build advertising profiles. We do not use enquiry content to train AI models.
Automated replies
Replies on Messenger are generated automatically by an AI language model. The text of your message is sent to our AI provider to produce a reply and is not retained by them for training. Replies may be inaccurate; property details, prices and availability should be confirmed with the agent before you rely on them.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of processors, and only for the purposes above:
- Meta Platforms — delivery of Messenger messages.
- Supabase — database and file storage.
- Vercel — hosting of the Agent Portal.
- Groq — generating assistant replies.
- The agent whose Page you messaged — they receive your enquiry, which is the point of contacting them.
How long we keep it
Enquiries and listing content are kept for as long as the agent's account is active, because they are that agent's business records. If an agent ends their engagement, their data is retained for up to 90 days so it can be exported or restored, then deleted on request.
Your choices, and how to delete your data
You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data by emailing adaptgenteam@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion request". If you messaged an agent's Page, tell us which Page you contacted so we can find your record. We respond within 30 days, and deletion is permanent once completed.
To stop receiving automated replies, simply stop messaging the Page, or ask to speak to the agent directly and we will hand the conversation over.
Security
Data is stored on managed infrastructure with access restricted to AdaptGen and the agent it belongs to. Access to the Agent Portal requires Google sign-in and is limited to the single account linked to that agent.
Children
These services are intended for adults transacting property and are not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes materially we will update the date above and, where the change affects agents, notify them directly.
